What defines a Master or Mistress?

The role of a Master or Mistress involves consensually assuming ownership of another person within a relationship. In this role, the Master or Mistress exerts complete control over a Serf. They are highly dominant and demanding.

The establishment and maintenance of a Master-Serf-relationship typically span over an extended period. The Master or Mistress often needs to train the submissive counterpart until they meet their standards and obey all commands. Afterward, the Serf must fulfill all the desires of the dominant person and serve them around the clock. Within the agreed framework, there are no limits to the commands of the Master or Mistress: whether it’s simple household chores, errands, kinky services, or sexual tasks. The submissive must and will obediently follow the Master or Mistress.

A domination relationship with a Master or Mistress does not usually arise spontaneously, but is based on a contract. In this contract, boundaries and tasks are defined in advance according to the wishes of both parties before complete control begins. The submissive person is then marked as such, in many cases with jewelry and in particular with the “Ring of O”. This means that the Serf in the role is the property of the Master or Mistress and is completely subject to his or her authority.

The Master or Mistress finds the appeal of this type of role-playing game in the extreme power dynamic between the master and the servant. The feeling of absolute control over a person and the great responsibility involved also appeal to him or her.

Which roles are similar?

Comparable roles can be found in the Top or Dom environment, but a Master or Mistress is a very demanding role within the dominant types. The roles of Trainer and Disciplinarian are also associated with this role.

Which roles match?

Important for the submissive part of the relationship is a Bottom or Sub in the strongest form, i.e. a Serf. Masochists with an interest in relinquishing control are also possible partners for the start of a training session, for example.

How do I know if I am a Master or a Mistress?

Potential Masters or Mistresses often exhibit a pronounced dominance. If you feel called to exercise complete control over a submissive person and do not shy away from the long, responsible task, you might find yourself in the role of a Master or Mistress.

As a Master ir Mistress, it is important that…

…you respect the boundaries of your counterpart and stick to your agreements. Complete control only happens within the agreed area. Nothing comes before the mental and physical health of the person you are serving. With the role of Master or Mistress, you have an immense responsibility and you must be aware of this. In return, as a responsible ruler, you can live out your darkest fantasies with a submissive servant by mutual agreement.
