You even have the word “#Latexfetish” tattooed on your skin. What’s the story behind that?
Frau Tagtraum: My latex fetish is a big part of my life, both privately and as a fetish model. That’s why I had the word tattooed on me. Unfortunately, the hashtag no longer exists on Instagram. As if it were something bad…
What excites you so much about latex clothing? Which properties do you find arousing?
Frau Tagtraum: One aspect is definitely that there’s no other clothing that fits so perfectly. Especially with custom-made pieces, they fit like a glove. There’s no pinching and it shapes a bit. And I actually like the smell, that typical rubber smell you get from latex gloves when cleaning at home or using resistance bands in sports. Moreover, I don’t just enjoy wearing latex myself; I also love touching it, for instance, when my boyfriend wears it. I find that very pleasant and really arousing.

How do you, or you both, live out your latex fetish?
Frau Tagtraum: Due to Corona and the lockdown, we have to be creative because parties aren’t possible. Currently, everything happens at home within our play situations. My partner doesn’t always have to wear latex; it can just be my thing. But when we both wear latex, like a catsuit, for example, the experience is naturally more intense and exciting.

You’ve already mentioned gloves, but if you had to choose your favorite piece of latex clothing, what would it be?
Frau Tagtraum: The ultimate for me is still a catsuit because you have just one piece. And if it fits, you’re perfectly dressed. I’ve also discovered catsuits with a collar entry. At first, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get into them, but in the end, it’s these catsuits that really provide the full latex experience.
Because you’re not wearing anything else but your second skin.
With a catsuit, almost your entire body is wrapped in latex. So, does the latex fetish follow the rule “the more, the better”?
Frau Tagtraum: Yes, definitely. Everything is wrapped up, and nothing can slip out of place. There are no coarse seams, and everything is very smooth. You don’t really feel anything, yet you feel it all.

Latex love at first sight
When did you realize you had a fetish for latex, and how did it feel to wear rubber for the first time?
Frau Tagtraum (laughs): That’s the standard question in Instagram Q&A sessions! I started with latex quite early, around 16 years old. Back then, I was a little goth girl and wore a lot of extravagant clothing. I saw latex for the first time while partying in some club and thought, “Wow, that looks really cool.” I looked into it and first found out what it actually was. Then I ordered a basic, cheap piece from Amazon, because I didn’t know if I would even like it on me.
My first pieces were a skirt, a top with a zipper in the front, and stockings to match. I put it on, and it fit perfectly right away, feeling like a second skin. The smell was also a factor that I really liked from the beginning.
So you felt good about it right from the start, not weird or uncomfortable?
Frau Tagtraum: Yes, definitely. It helped that I started with simple clothing pieces.
I didn’t immediately squeeze into a catsuit because that’s a whole different experience. The challenge would have likely discouraged me at first.
If you have the choice… do it in latex!
Do you wear latex only in private?
Frau Tagtraum: No, I actually enjoy wearing latex in everyday situations as well, such as when I go shopping. It’s exciting in public and also part of the latex fetish experience.
Topic: photo shoots. Is there a difference for you compared to other sexy outfits when you’re in front of the camera wearing latex?
Frau Tagtraum: The comfort factor is much higher in latex. There are no nude photos of me, but plenty in transparent latex. Even though everything can be seen through it, I feel more comfortable than being naked.
Latex is a part of me and feels natural. It’s not a costume, and I don’t feel like I’m dressed up.
What do you find more enjoyable about latex compared to being naked or wearing everyday clothes?
Frau Tagtraum (pauses briefly): Showering! Especially because water can flow right through it. Or swimming. That’s also a very nice feeling in latex. Basically, anything involving water. But I’ve also cleaned in latex before. And I can tell you what I don’t enjoy despite having a latex fetish: wearing latex outside in the cold.
Kinky combo – but know how
Those who know you are aware that you’re also active as a Rope Bunny. Can you combine that with your latex fetish?
Frau Tagtraum: It’s challenging because latex is very delicate. It’s possible to combine Shibari and latex, but my partner and Rigger needs to be very careful not to damage anything. Alternatively, I can wear less latex, like just a bikini or panties, to make it work. The same goes for more intense play as a sub, punishments, or other physical interactions that typically involve skin-to-skin contact. I dress in a way that leaves enough bare skin for those activities.
Latex masks are always a hit. They are perfect for breath play, where everything is wrapped in latex except the mouth. It’s a great combination.
Is there anything about latex that annoys you?
Frau Tagtraum: Yes, the susceptibility to damage. The thinner the latex, the more beautiful it is for me to wear because it truly feels like a second skin. However, thinner latex is also more delicate. I also prefer latex that has been chlorinated on the inside, which makes it even more challenging to repair. You always have to be very careful with nails or sharp objects, and accessories are almost a no-go.
And what about sweating?
Frau Tagtraum: Nah, that’s part of it.

What do you look for when you’re buying latex clothing?
Frau Tagtraum: Cheap usually isn’t good. However, I don’t mind buying second-hand. The prices are similar to cheap offers, but the quality is better. Latex is easy to clean, which is a big plus. It’s also important that the measurements are right; if an outfit doesn’t fit well, it’s less enjoyable. I’m also a fan of latex that’s chlorinated on the inside because it makes putting it on easier and enhances comfort.
What advice would you give to someone who sees your photos and wants to try latex for the first time?
Frau Tagtraum: For starters, I would advise: Buy something that you find visually appealing. Start with something simple where you don’t need three hours just to get into it. Don’t get frustrated if it doesn’t work quickly the first time. It’s best to use a good lubricant. Then just enjoy it and feel good!
